Black Mesa is one of the oldest clans in the game, created by "old school" gamers. About 2,5 years ago when almost everyone else left or disappeared due to personal -or unknown- reasons, I (Damocles Imperator) decided to preserve and advance the clan and its rating (currently at 2500) mostly on my own. The clan became active again since January 2017, after I decided to start recruiting new members of any ego/ country of origin. Unfortunately most of the new recruits mistook the recently "reborn"  clan as a "gift-shop" for legendary/ jp items or a place to make their personal demands... As a clan leader/ owner I tried to help as many as i could, whenever I was asked for it, and I also distributed plenty of free items, whenever I had the capability to do so, as well as to provide useful knowledge (ingame & general). Unfortunately, this was not appreciated or misinterpreted even, by many new recruits and they left the clan for larger and more "promising" (mostly because of item scavenging & random jp distributing) clans.

Therefore and so forth I have decided to maintain the clan mostly as a Tribute (until further notice) to the old friends and comrades-gamers that are no longer with us... and thus I will keep all those inactive members of the past in the clan and will never kick them out, even if some people don't like it, and even If it means that I remain alone in the clan (I don't care about that, since I have done this before!) because of that in the end... I will follow my principles, and keep this clan alive till the very end (even though I've had various offers to join the "big ones").

The clan will still be open for anyone who wishes to join, and EVERYONE IS WELCOME. I will be happy to accept new recruits and help any new player (nobody will call you "noob" on my watch here), If and whenever I am asked in clan or private chat, as I always did in the past. Also any EGO or nationality is still welcome, as long as you can speak English so we can understand each other. 

However, in order to be perfectly clear, this is a small TRIBUTE clan (for now) and I would like everyone to respect that, so If you decide to join don't expect dozens of free jps and fancy stuff, "massive groups", long "sheets" of text on clan chat, or events with majestic rewards like some of the large clans organize in coalision with Trion (though nothing is impossible in the distant future, If many people join eventually...).
