Trion have announced a their Hotfix Patch 1.509 released 14th May, 2014.

GENERAL FIXES

  • Having a full inventory no longer prevents players from picking up consumables and their charges.
  • Shield values can no longer go into negatives because of very strong shield-drain damage. 
  • The Dark Matter Monolith now shows the correct armor plate icons on its target locations. 

UI AND SETTINGS

  • The ending score bonus will no longer apply more than once in instances with lots of players. This will fix the issue causing mismatched scores at end screen for different players.
  • The Chimera UI now properly shows the number of available Caeruleum Cores a player has.
  • Updated the text for the Upgrade Rating option in the Salvage Matrix to be more specific as to how much it will upgrade.
  • Rep costs now display correctly on merchants

BALANCE CHANGES

  • Queuing for advanced and expert co-op instances via matchmaking now requires a certain EGO rating: Advanced requires 3000, and expert requires 5000. However, low EGO level characters will be able to join these instances as part of a pre-established group!
  • Increased the overall power of characters and items of the range 4500 to 5000. This area of rating was too weak in comparison to 5000+ to contribute fully to threat level 10 events and there was not enough improvement across the 4000s in general.
  • Removed Threat scaling from open world Rampages and Hotshots, as well as the "End Success" bonus which was making certain events automatically grant gold rewards.
  • Updated Armor Penetration for Radiation weapons to avoid 2.5 armor plates worth of damage reduction. The associated perks increase this value appropriately.
  • Hitting enemies in their weak spots now avoids the regular damage reduction from Armor Plates.

MOBS

  • Reduced the shield buff granted to higher-tier 99ers, Volge, and Dark Matter.
  • Reduced the base health of 99er Mad Mattocks, Snipers, Prowlers, Goldrushers, and Smelters. (Their base shields remain the same.)
  • Altered the enraged state from Goldrushers so that they no longer constantly regenerate their shields. However, their shield regeneration delay is halved: don't let them rest!

WARMASTER

  • The Warmaster's electric attack will no longer disable your shields for quite so long.
  • Added the Volge Typhoon AR, the Volge Lightning Rifle, and the Volge Thunderer Pistol to the Legendary drops from the Warmaster.
  • Increased the Warmaster Legendary Weapon drop chance by 2%. Dude got harder. Rewards got slightly better.

WEAPONS

  • Fixed a bug causing certain projectile weapons to ignore their nano-effect damage type. 
  • The Volge Lightning Rifle now deals more damage when charged and doesn't "miss" when headshotting certain enemies.
  • Infector Bugs now properly always scale with weapon rating.
