Game Update

GENERAL FIXES

  • Fixed an issue causing clan key bonuses to not apply.
  • Fix some inconsistent calculations regarding inventory size. If your inventory was full, some of your items might now be in the claimables window.
  • Weapons should now more reliably reload while in zoom.
  • Fixed a bug that caused grenades to disappear when trading with higher EGO rating players.
  • While in the tutorial, your primary weapon will not be locked if you don’t have a secondary weapon equipped.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to not be added to score-- and therefore causing them to miss out on rewards-- while moving or teleporting away from a phase to some other event, such as an arkfall.
  • Arena: Berk Academy: Fixed a bug causing this arena to show 0 score and no rewards in the end screen, even though the rewards were given appropriately.
  • Co-Op Map: Explosions 101: Dekuso will now go through all his stages when dealt massive damage.

SCORES AND REWARDS

  • Score can now be acquired by breaking through an enemy’s armor plates!
  • Roadside emergencies that are not part of any larger event now give increased rewards based on each player’s score.
  • Implemented some server optimization for when lots of players are in the same scored activity, which should now be a bit faster.

OPEN WORLD EVENTS

  • Sieges now progress when all the encounters are defeated instead of requiring specific point values.
  • Conflict Site: Hellbug Horror: The Happy Pow Farms conflict site will now complete even if you kill the monarch quickly.
  • Conflict Site: Dark Matter Disguise:
    • Should be much more completable. If the disguised guys take their time, don’t worry – you will still be able to complete it.
    • This site will no longer get stuck at the last objective.
    • You now have to clear out the enemies and unlock the door before the third soldier will join you.
  • Conflict Site: Major Miner Rescue: This site no longer spawns enemies endlessly even after completion.

UI AND SETTINGS

  • Fixed a UI issue causing the Score Total to display on the screen after logging off.
  • Fixed the Score Total text overlapping the mission offer popup.

MOBS

  • Armor Plate values have been adjusted for all enemies to better differentiate between enemy groups.
    • Scrappers and other robots now have very high values of armor plates.
    • Raiders have far fewer armor plates.
    • 99ers have armor that is more fragile.
  • Additionally, Armor Plates do not scale so drastically with enemy tier.
    • Bio and Rad were too necessary for all high-tier builds, and that was contributing to their dominance against enemy groups that were not intended to require armor damage.
  • Fixed a bug with the Monolith’s Hard Points getting out of sync on the client after scaling up from new players appearing.

WEAPONS AND SHIELDS

  • All shields without resistances have had their stats moved up a tier.
  • Extra Life Shields have had their stats adjusted, they should now have roughly 20% more capacity than their non-extra life counterparts, but otherwise have identical stats.
  • Rare bio grenades no longer have a stronger snare than all other bio grenade tiers.
  • The Chimera Horn has been changed to a cluster rocket, and should now do more damage as a result.

COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER

  • Competitive multiplayer damage reduction is now capped so that no combination of perks, shields, stims, or anything else can reduce incoming damage by more than 95%. PvE damage reduction is unchanged.

MISSIONS AND EPISODES

SEASON 2: EPISODE 1

  • Sibling Duties:
    • The cut scene after the Parrabas Farm hellbug murderin’ will now properly show for everyone.
    • Note: It will begin for the first person to get out of the cutscene, and everyone else will drop in as they finish watching it.

SEASON 2: EPISODE 2

  • Hide and Seek:
    • EGO should be a little more focused on the mission at hand instead of the dock workers.
    • Now you should only hear Stahma and Varus going back and forth ONE TIME.
    • Fixed some text during the travel voice over.
    • Text on the used objects should be a bit more descriptive.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight:
    • Quest giver and first objective are in a more suitable location.
    • Bandits should no longer sucker punch you during a cut scene.
      • Henchman have been informed that armor is a requirement, not an option.
      • Combat music should go away after finishing the mission.
  • A Milk Run:
    • Fixed a discrepancy between the voiceover and text.
