Defiance 2.207 (hotfix) - Patch Notes

GENERAL FIXES

  • All salvage matrix actions now complete nearly instantly!
  • Reduced the Arkforge cost required to increase the rating of items by 50%.
  • Server stability improvements. 
  • The event end screen will no longer pop up until the player is out of combat. No more being attacked why basking in the glory of your score!
  • Fixed the visual bug causing 999999 to sometimes display on siege leaderboards.
  • It is no longer possible to duplicate perks by equipping them during loadout change.

OPEN WORLD

  • The Paradise section of the map will max out at one Incursion and one Siege at a time. This was already true for San Francisco. 
    • This will help reduce the chances of players being split up for the same event type in the same shared space.
  • Dominate Delta Bunker pursuit “Defeat Piercer without dying” now completes correctly as long as the whole group is not forced to extract from the Piercer fight. 

SILICON VALLEY

  • Invaders in Silicon Valley now remain closer to their objectives.
  • Invaders at Foster Temple will no longer stand stark still and hopelessly contemplate the futility of their existences.

WEAPONS AND VENDORS

  • Non-Legendary items will no longer drop in an encrypted state. The only items that will be auto-encrypted are Legendary ones.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing encrypted shields to not grant their capacity bonus until the player re-logged.
  • The T4 Lock Box, Machinist Supply Crate, Outlaw Supply Crate, Survivalist Supply Crate, and Veteran Supply Crate now guarantee at least one epic or higher rarity item. 
  • Based on community feedback, we’ve removed the following weapons from the T2, T3, and T4 Lock Boxes. We plan to return these items in the future after they’ve been re-tuned.

    • FRC Crash Boomer
    • FRC Incubator
    • FRC Innoculator
    • FRC Interceptor
    • FRC Magnum
    • FRC Matchlock Boomer
    • FRC Nomad SMG
    • FRC Particle Repeater

    • VBI INF-27 Immunizer
    • VBI LM-12 Rocker
    • VBI Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle
    • VBI Short-Barrel Shotgun
    • VBI Shotgun
    • VOT Afflictor
    • VOT Auto Fragger
    • VOT Auto Lobber
    • VOT Breaker Cannon
    • VOT Infector
    • VOT Meteor Bolter
    • VOT Outbreaker
    • VOT Rebound Lobber
    • VOT Rebounder Cannon

ENEMIES

  • Gulanee have been made less susceptible to explosive splash damage. Only very near hits will affect them.
  • The Matron, Progenitor, and Hellion have had their health increased during arkfalls.
  • The following arkfall bosses have had their kill score values increased: Hellbug Matron, Hellbug Hellion Larva, Mature Hellbug Hellion, Scrapper Progenitor, Dark Matter Monolith, and the Arkbreak Gulanee. 
  • Fun fact: The maximum health of the Warmaster is 195,639,124. Good hunting!

UI AND DISPLAY

  • Resolved an issue with corrupt settings that was causing the chat window to not appear (some players may have to cycle through them to make them reappear

You might be meaning 1 mil ark salvage, because that much arkforge would be crazy. And yes we've all had a lot of money and rarely sell stuff, that's why they made keycode purchases 10x the price of before :( #hyperinflation

Yeah the buying keycodes still seems like a waste of money though. It's so easy to fill out your max key-codes that I find myself buying a tier 4 lockbox about at least once a week by doing the weekly/daily missions, and arkfalls. Also that patron's pass that is bound to run out at some point keeps giving me free codes.

Arkforge, however, that one is difficult. And since i'm just getting to EGO2400 i think i'm going to just purple favorites that can be upgraded to legendary and wait even salvage those if they get well behind as I get more ego. I'm not sure it's worth it to keep any non-legendary weapon until i'm well above 4000.

Yeah, I did mean ark salvage. Arkforge....*checks*...I have a little under 4k.

It's the Internet. People will complain about anything. Still, I can't think of a reason why making them instantaneous operations is a bad thing. It did take me a couple of times of weirdness to notice (because I hadn't read) that taking away mods now destroys the weapon that had them. But usually when I taken the mods out of a weapon it was because I was going to salvage that weapon anyway, so not that big of a deal for me, just a couple of hundreds of salvage that I can recuperate in an arkfall.

They are, it's pretty crazy. They are already paying one cost in currency, there is no need for the timed cost.

Finally, I hate encrypted weapons and pairing it with a reduction in cost for rate upgrade, this means that I'm going to be less likely to just throw out my weapons away.
