About Defiance Data

Defiance Data is brought to you by Etaew a graduate Web Programmer from the UK and some community volunteers.

Having purchased the game on release day I knew nothing about the game, as I explored I noticed there was little to no help on some of the contracts and so I started out with a list telling people suitable ways to complete them. That feature continues to be the most popular one on the site, and I expanded it by allowing any registered member to update the list, lessening the burdon on me to update it daily.

I also noticed that data recorder locations were hard to find, there were some good lists out already but they were text based. I decided to show the locations in a graphical format with at least 3 pictures for each recorder showing the position on the world map, the general location and the immediate view of the rcorder with a textual description. 

From those two features the site has expanded into provided a database for the rest of the games content, tools such as model viewers and sound archives, resource articles and news.
