Weapon Bonus Rolls Changes

The old bonus roll system allowed for rolling the same bonus multiple times across the tiers, adding to some high values. The new roll system allows only one roll of one type.

Quick Facts

  • Double rolls are prevented
    e.g. if you get + Damage in Legendary roll it is removed as a possibility from Rare, Uncommon and Common rolls
  • Rolls are calculated from highest tier to lowest
  • When upgrading stats are rolled fresh and will replace the previous roll if it becomes a duplicate
    e.g. If you have +Damage in Rare and upgrade to get +Damage in Legendary, the +Damage in Rare gets re-rolled to something else
    The most re-rolls you will get is 2. One for the new tier and one if the new tier dupes an existing tier
  • Every weapon should have at least 4 distinct bonus types to cover the 4 rarity slots (excluding Epic)
    When it has only 4, every weapon at the top tier will have each bonus with the variance being where it shows up.
  • Mag bonuses are all percentages now instead of a flat increase

I am really looking forward to these changes because I believe it will make the weapons more realistic. Some things were really unbelievable - seen a video on you tube of a dude reloading a fragger, and his hand was moving like it belonged to The Flash! Hopefully, that wont ever happen with the coming change to weapons. I like when things are close to reality, considering some weapons...

This change won't be retroactive. All of your current weapons won't be touched. :)

Rashere ensured every weapon will gain additional magazine even with the common (white roll) Sawed-Offs cannot roll mag, but Detonators should gain mag. These changes go to PTS first, so if we find anything wrong with it, they'll change it before it goes live :)
