Forum Integration Outage

Our web servers haven't been able to communicate with the Defiance forums over the past few days. This has lead to an outage on several of the functions the site relies on including the Dev Tracker, Forum Overviews, Forum Mention Emails, News Notifications etc.

We've communicated the loss of connection to Trion but have not yet received a response. I will update the news post when communication is restored.

Update: October 12 - My web host reports that the block appears to coming from the CDN that Trion are using, and that Trion themselves they will have to appeal to that network to have it restored.

Update: October 14 - Speaking with a network engineer at Trion to try and solve the issue, they aren't seeing anything specific on their end. Have started enquiring with other teams including looking at their upstream ISP.

Update: October 15 - Looks like the problem has been located, and the block is in the process of being lifted. It looks like our Trove sister site, Trovesaurus was sending too many requests so we will have to restructure how it tracks server status when it comes back up.

Update: October 15 #2 - Looks like the block has been removed, we're re-attaching scripts now.
