This was our first one, so we were still getting out process sorted. I run this type of contest regularly on Trovesaurus but never on Defiance. For this process me and Kiwibird reviewed each piece and picked the top 3 that we felt deserved it.
On Trovesaurus I allow the community to vote, but we have a lot more entries and artists on those contests and I wasn't sure of the participation on a Defiance vote.
Any improvements or suggestions for future contests or rewards I can pass on up the chain. All contests I want you to win something special, so they all have to be signed off by Trion to provide the rewards.
As for videos, it's an interesting idea, I like art, it feels like solid content without having to load up something significant, but that's probably my redditor talking. I know Kiwi is really into making Defiance gifs atm, that could be a thing ;)

It was really fun to participate not to mention the process to come up with ideas and all, nice to see what other creatives come up with also. What was the criteria and the process of the judges?
