The only way to get these synergies to activate is to place mods of the same synergy type as the weapon in the mod slots. For example with an "Assassin weapon"; you would need to place an "Assassin"...

I have a 4.5x assassin ranger converted to fire, no need to do it on my dove.

Radiation is still useful in the WM anyway for those who don't want to convert.

Double crit or dmg ars with the xp rolled the same or a mixture of will still hold thier own, add to that the assassin/blackened hellfire syn and you're laughing.

Defiance 2050 has new class and itemization systems, plus the graphical updates. Including the Assault, Assassin, Guardian, Combat Medic, and Demolitionist classes! New game content will focus on end game and growing the story, which won't be accessible yet in this beta phase.

At launch, you can select 1 of 4 base classes (Assault, Assassin, Guardian, Combat Medic) for your character and you can unlock them by playing or by purchasing a pack. We're also adding a premium class, Demolitionist!
