3 comments | 0 images, and you can use the trailer the tanker spawns from as cover by running around it. This allows you to recover health and shields. And a well placed grenade can disable him long enough for you to run around and pop some rounds into his face.

Dind't check other places, but for me best place to finish this quest in less then 30 min is described here - http://www.zam.com/wiki/The_Guns_of_Old_(Defiance_Contract). No long quests, only kill few mobs.

I'm gonna recommend the Overland Graveyard for this one, because you can cycle through pretty fast.  There's a Blitzer and a Rioter on the road in, but you can bypass them if you come in from over the hill.  Inside the Graveyard itself there are a pair of Blasters, a pair of Rioters, and a half-dozen or so Blitzers.  You can snipe the two Blasters in just a few seconds.  The Blitzers and Rioters are all bunched up behind a truck.  You can head-shot 2 or 3 Blitzers before they start running toward you.  Mow down the rest and toss a grenade to kill the two Rioters, then the Tanker spawns.  Kill him and "fast travel" back to Bug 'n Chug.  Load up on ammo, take care of any weapons you picked up, and head back to the Graveyard.  Total time spent on each cycle is just a handful of minutes.

A great place to do this is the road south of Last Chance, there are several Tankers along the road.

Head to Cronkhite bunker, the entrance to the road that leads to the bunker will have raiders kill them until the tanker spawns. Kill him then run to the bunker, once you get to actual bunker turn around and head back, by this time they should have respawned. repeat the process until you complete the contract

I like seascape farms event for this. You only get one every time but there are heavy weapons all over the place for this event and it doesn't take too long even with one person doing it. Also just off the side on the road, two tankers are known to spawn but someone might have to be doing that side mission, not sure. I also chose this place because there's plenty of raiders and I need weapon kills so I don't use the heavy weapons..
