Raptr Rewards

Rewards expired. Thats nice for those new to the game and wasted their time on raptr. Can the offer be brought back some time yes?

Update:  Connection issues resolved!  Raptr requires Steam accounts to set privacy settings to Public :|  It's not a good idea to remain in the Public setting, but it's easy to switch back and forth, so it's not a big deal.  Raptr still can't see most things, but it's randomly adding one or two every couple hours, so likely just a matter of time.

It looks like it would be handy in some ways - I'm sure I would enjoy it too - if it worked :|  It's been able to download marketing data instantly, for anything I let it know about, but it somehow 'cannot contact Steam' for anything other then said marketing data.  Even after attempting manual entries - it still only recognizes 30 games on Steam (out of 170+) - and it also doesn't recognize anything installed directly to Windows 8, for some reason.  I may just be terribly unlucky - but this comedy of errors is playing out exactly the same for the two buddies who also attempted to join for this. Perhaps I'll have better luck trying again in a couple weeks once the rush dies down.  Of course - I mean no implied disparagement toward Etaew/Tom at all - I appreciate the tip I would likely have never known otherwise (like much of what I find here)

Raptr is really more for PC gamers than console, although I think Microsoft consoles have their time tracked as well. PS3, not so much. Nice to have my trophies tracked, though.

I quite enjoyed having my game time tracked, as well as having my game contacts in one place without having to give out other IM details.

Found this from a Raptr employee named Oogy in their comments section:

"This was a decision made by the partners who are supplying Raptr with these codes to give away. It appears they only supplied us with PC codes. However it's not unheard of that a reward is changed at the last moment or more of the same are added at a later date with less restrictions. Likely if this reward goes well, there will be more in the future."

I have a feeling you can manually enter up to 5 hours a day for any game.

This could allow you to qualify which gives you a code to enter into the Trion account center which may apply it to your PS3 account.

I can confirm that palytime on PS3 is harder to track; you have to do it manually, for some reason. Achievements are tracked normally. On XBox, no idea.

Hope they do give console players a shot at these.

Not sure, perhaps play time is harder to track on the other platforms. Or perhaps Trion doesn't sell copies of the console versions directly on its site.

Why are they only giving away raptr awards for the PC version of Defiance! What about Xbox and PS3?
