What's New on Defiance Data - February Week #1

We started keeping track of all of our changes in December 2014 in our What's New. We want to inform you weekly about the changes we made to Defiance Data, featuring some of our bigger tasks in a week.

This has happened this week:

• You can now embed previews of other pages on any page
• Pages now have a history button, you can select to see the differences to pages.
• A lot of other stuff

Embed Previews

Instead of having to link to pages, you can now embed previews to other pages. Our calendar entries show how that looks:

You can now see a page's history! We can also show off our new page preview feature.

Rest of Week #1

• Changed Falloff DMG on Mods to Falloff Distance
• Appearances DB now has filters for event Lock Boxes
• Added Night Porter (outfit), The Hellbug Stalker (headgear), Pith Helmet (headgear) and Hellbug Tooth Hat to Appearance DB
• Stalker Synergy stats updated - It now affects both range and falloff distance
• Added the following missions:
  • Seize the Day, Control the Future
• News page now matches the preview on the front page.
• Pages preview now matches that of the front page.
• News on the front page now show tags
• Updated the Maps page to be less terrible on the eyes
• Started importing the Bootstrap theme and features across the site
• Added January basic stats to the Stats page.
• Added Proxy Memory Slider to "Features" in the "Returning to Defiance" guide
• Mods, Appearance, Vehicles and Titles DBs now link to their appropriate pages
• Calendar now shows 3 main events and two coming later
• Blade Mods added to Mods DB
• Casanova, Charmer and Smooth Operator added to Titles DB
• Revamped the featured pages section of the site into boxes with images
• Removed guides button at the top of the site as most of the highlighted guides are now featured
• Added Heartbreaker Supply Crate to Lock Box DB
• Condensed News Posts again to have a preview picture to the left of the article.
  • First paragraph of summaries will be displayed as the news summary
  • News without any pictures will use a random picture set for News Previews
• Dev Posts now appear under "Recent Activity" rather than in between News Posts
• Synergies now say on which weapons they can be found (Vendors, Lock Boxes etc.)
