Warmaster Armor Health Indicators

Last week I proposed that we had similar health indicators on the Warmaster that we are used to on the Monolith. I provided an image to illustrate what I meant and a description of how it would work and why it would be useful.

The developers replied back to this suggestion positively saying:

This is something we plan on implementing, and it's going to be awesome.

I don't know if this topic contributed to this plan, there were several pages of forum posts desiring the feature, or whether they had always planned on doing this. I think it's an important quality of life change and I love those.

Similar to Armor Hardpoints

The Warmaster could be given armor health indicators

Why?

  • You could see how close you got to destroying an armor piece
  • You could adjust your fire if you see another armor piece taking more damage, similar to the Monolith
  • Because magical hidden values are sad
  • You could see where to shoot if you are being blinded by BMGs etc
  • I'd stop derping around trying to remember which hand was the right hand when he moves around
