DD 2nd Anniversary Stats

To start our coverage of our second anniversary I'd like to share with you some of the site statistics showing our launch and growth.

We don't actually remember when we launched, the first time we started tracking stats was on 2 May, 2013 when the site ran on my personal domain.

For 3 weeks we ran on the personal domain, we had 50,000 visitors and 650,000 views and I realised that it needed it's own place.

We moved over to our own domain on 25 May, 2013, and maintained the premier source of Defiance information for the next 2 years.

Although the games population dropped steadily as expected past launch, we had a sudden spike again with Free to Play and arrival on Steam. Numbers have remained steady ever since.

On this own domain we had 664,000 users viewing 7.8 million pages.

This is an incredible number, and something I never dreamed of when I started the site.

Country Breakdown

Over half of our visitors are from the United States, but that means that just under half are from outside of it.
