I've created a page on Facebook for Defiance Data. This will allow me to post news articles and interesting links as I find them allowing people to discover new information in their news feed as well as when they visit the site.

I have updated the like button on the top of the page (previously it just posted in your news feed) to like the page instead.

In order to support and provide an easier way to view Defiance livestreamers we have introduced a page which automatically lists people streaming Defiance on Twitch.

Patch 1.026

Patch 1.026 is a minor bugfix patch that was deployed July 25, 2013.

• Updated the login process to fix causes where players would get a Timeout error
• Fixed several causes where players would fail to join the group when entering a co-op instance

Defiance Lowers Price

Following on from the Steam Summer Sale, Defiance has reduced its price even lower on Steam.

• £6.99 / $9.99 / €9.99

It's a tricky issue, on one hand we will have more players in the game, on the other hand early adopters and full price people feel cheated.

In order to make up for the disruption to the service that have hit the Defiance servers, Trion have activated a boost weekend.

The boost is active from Friday until Monday.
