Instant Adventure - Hypothetical Feature

It's been a while since I've cranked one of these out, but I want to look at some features that could be integrated into the game. This time I want to feature Rift's Instant Adventure feature in a Defiance light, a way to get into guaranteed action.

Repeat: This is a speculative piece, and NOT a notice of a feature that is coming to Defiance.

Instant Adventure would be part of the Matchmaking system, they would have to join and wait. Branded the feature might be called "Arkhunting" or something.

When a major event pops up, Major Arkfalls, Sieges, Incursions, Arkbreaks, the invite is sent out to the queue and they are given the ability to teleport to the nearest fast travel, extraction point or directly into the action.

After the Major event is complete all people in the queue are re-queued, and they have the option to leave queue when it pops up again, creating a chain of events and people you can travel with.

The bonus of the instant adventure feature would be to instantly be able to get into the action across several shards without having to resource to manual switching from the friends list or clan. Providing more incentive to complete just that one more arkfall as one becomes available.

Obviously with the console crippling focus of the UI design, the matchmaking ready popup would most likely be implemented as is currently the way with small notifications under the character information.

I can also see the player number features being removed, as it isn't necessary, or done frequently in MMOs.

As for motivation to do so, I could see a faction contracts being the best way to reward such behavior.

There is problems with the progression of the game so far, that constant event grinding provides little benefit to higher level characters, and I would love to see this feature partnered with overflow levels, or alternative ways to raise EGO Rating, but that can be covered in another topic.
