Thanks for taking part in our Draw Your 2050 Arkhunter Art Contest, we have the results ready from our guest judges Kiwibird, Delicious and Etaew. Each judge will choose 1 winner and mention things they like about two other entries.
Our choices try to come from a balanced perspective with effort and originality not just skill. You all did great, and I loved looking through them.
Rewards will be sent out through Defiance Data Mail as soon as they have been made available from the Defiance team.

So i wanted to put my chill defiance 2050 in perspective however, i was not sure how to do so in a way that shows the robust side of my gameplay as well as keep my favorite elements (favorite weapon of all time in mind). So in all its glory this is my arkhunter "lil zero' with my favorite colors and of course the MAZU AR. Fully modded of course. I wanted something that would make a good poster but keep it comic-like.

Congrats everyone who created art for the contest. It's a hellbug of alot harder work to create art to enter a contest than it is to click on a button to be entered.
Thanks DD for the challenge and hope for more creative contests that test the fandom of the Defiance community.
It's also good to hear a Kiwi bird stopped by and pecked a winner.

Thanks for taking part in the contest, the rewards for taking part will be sent out today. Each judge had their own opinion of what they liked, and one did prefer traditional work and humor. I respect their right to choose. No friends were chosen, as none of the judges know the people who entered.
Thanks for creating Defiance art, we'll be looking at showcasing this where we can, and hosting future contests. I hope you accept and respect our decisions and the difficulty in running the contest and picking a limited amount of winners with the rewards limited by Trion.

I'm not going to argue specifics in a public setting, everyone did great, and there are some high quality traditional pieces. The judge justified their choice in the text after the image, and it was the humor that made it stand out to them.

I completely agree with Tyrant. And there are other suspicious things he hasn't said. One of the judges wouldn't even comment on his choice.
But only the fact that they changed the rules makes it very clear.
